Board

Grounding IACET's work is the governance of the IACET Board of Directors.

A Guiding Force

By creating our policies and directing our activities as an organization, the Board furthers IACET's mission of promoting and enhancing quality in continuing education and training through research, education, and the development and continuous improvement of IACET criteria, principles and standards.

A Representative Body

Board members reflect IACET’s membership and constituent groups. They come from accredited IACET Authorized Providers or hold an individual membership in the association, with a majority elected by the IACET general membership.

The IACET Board of Directors includes IACET Board Officers, the immediate Past President, and no more than fifteen other members. The Chair of the IACET Council on Standards Development, the Chair of the IACET Commission and the Executive Director serve as ex-officio, non-voting members.
